Project One Something Sliced:
To create this picture, I combined an orange and an apple. I made it look like the inside of an apple was the inside of the orange. I placed the inside of the apple on top of one orange, and I also made a shadow, so it looked more real. The picture of the apple that I used was sliced horizontally, so that is why the seeds are in a star shape.
Project Two: Turn a Pop Icon into a Sculpture:
To create this image I used a picture of the Little Ducklings sculpture in Boston. Then, on each of the ducks, I put a disney character's face. To do this I took multiple pictures, erased the backgrounds, and added the faces to the sculpture picture. I re-sized all the images, so they would be as much in portion to the ducklings as possible.
Project Three: Literal Interpretaions
My literal interpretation was of "peppermint". Not just a mint. I made a pepper a mint color, and then the stem of the pepper is mint leaves. The background of the picture is a picture of red and green peppermints. I did not just paint the pepper mint, I changed the saturation of it. This allowed for the shadows that were in the original picture to, for the most part, remain.
Project Four: Bad Mail
My bad mail project is a crumbled wet box. It has a puddle around it, and also a shark fin coming from the top. Written on the box is "CAUTION". To make the box look wet, I added multiple pictures on top of it of wet cardboard, and also placed the puddle behind it. Also, to make the shark fin seem like it was coming out of the box, I tilted it to the right angle. It's not something anyone would want to receive on their door stop.
Project Five: Some Scrambled Bodies Looking All Crazy!
This mixed up picture is obviously of a horse. From another photo, I erased everything but the horses tail, and turned it into pigtails for the horse. I just made a copy of the tail and flipped it to get the pigtail for the other side. Then, I blended the fur to make it look a little bit more realistic. I painted on pink bows too.
Project Six: A Holiday Mashup!
This holiday mashup is of the painting "The Great Wave", and then mixed with Santa's Sleigh. The wave was pretty much the shape of the sleigh, so I just added it on top. Next, I put the picture of Santa in the background. Then, with a paintbrush, I wrote "Santa's Sleigh" and added the skis onto the bottom of the sleigh. I though it was cool how the tip of the wave almost looks like it could be snow on the sleigh.
